I am learning to recognise and write teen numbers

I am learning to count and write numerals to 20.  I am learning to say the number before and after.

Zakariah said, " I am getting good at numbers and I need to look at the number line too sometimes." 

I am learning to sound out 3 letter words.

I am learning to say the first, middle and last sound in a word and then blend the sounds together to write the word.  This can help me in my reading and my writing.

"I can sound out 3 letter words if I am stuck with a word.  I can robot the word too." said Zakariah

I am learning to write a recount.

Fathers Day

Zakariah said, "I can write long stories now. I can robot lots of words."

I am learning to make the beginning sounds

I am learning to make the beginning sounds in unknown words.  I need to get my mouth ready to make the sound and this activity helps me remember.

"I can read by myself.  I can read the letters." said Zakariah

I am learning to make patterns to 5

Zakariah, you are able to recognise patterns to 5 using concrete materials.  We are now going to work on instantly recalling these patterns to 5.

"I can make 5 more of the pattern.  I can write my numbers right now." said Zakariah
